Kadant purchases KWS Manufacturing

Kadant completed the acquisition of KWS Manufacturing Co., a manufacturer of conveying equipment for the bulk material handling industry, in a deal worth $84 million.

According to Kadant, KWS manufactures screw conveyors, screw feeders, slide gates, and bucket elevators for process industries. KWS is located in Burleson, Texas, with about 165 employees.
