Iowa Mold Tooling Co. (IMT) promoted Tom Wallace to sales manager. In this position, Wallace will direct the IMT sales team to further strengthen the company’s distributor network and grow tire service sales.
Wallace joined IMT in 2008 as a regional sales manager. Prior to this, he spent eight years working in the service department for Kleine Equipment Services, a John Deere dealership based in Galesburg, Ill. Wallace spent the first four years of his career in the United States Air Force, followed by 23 years of farming in west central Illinois.
“During my IMT career, I have enjoyed learning about and working with the diverse industries we serve, while still being able to work alongside the agricultural market, which is in my roots,” Wallace says. “I look forward to continuing to strengthen the relationships with IMT customers and distributors by offering new solutions in our rapidly changing industry.”
IMT employees believe Wallace will be an asset to the company.
“Tom has worked to become respected throughout the business by establishing cross-functional relationships that drive and support customer satisfaction,” says Jim Hasty, IMT general manager. “His sales and customer service experience will be instrumental in our continued success.”
IMT, an Oshkosh Corp. company, was founded in 1961 as a business providing new tread designs for recapping tires. Since then, the company has become a manufacturer and supplier of service vehicles, cranes, hydraulic loaders and air compressors for the tire, mining, construction, material handling and utility industries.
