Revenue and gross profit improved year over year in the third quarter at Granite Construction, driven by higher sales volumes and pricing in aggregates and asphalt.

Revenue in Granite’s materials segment rose 39.1 percent in the third quarter to $270.9 million, while gross profit in the segment increased 111.4 percent to $68.2 million.

“In the third quarter, we saw an increase in materials orders and we continued to expand our high-quality project portfolio,” says Staci Woolsey, executive vice president and CFO at Granite. “We expect a busy fourth quarter and continuation into 2026.”

Kyle Larkin, president and CEO of Granite, maintains a positive outlook as well.

“Robust public and private markets, disciplined project selection and execution, and strategic M&A opportunities position Granite to finish 2025 strong and achieve top- and bottom-line growth in 2026 in line with our financial targets,” Larkin says.
