GCC is acquiring three aggregate operations in Texas in a development that will strengthen its footprint in the Amarillo, Midland-Odessa, Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio markets.

The combined purchase price of the operations is about $100 million.

According to GCC, the assets at hand will add more than 4 million tons of annual production capacity and more than 50 years of reserves to its portfolio.

“These acquisitions mark an important milestone in our strategy to expand into key growth markets,” says Enrique Escalante, CEO of GCC. “This move not only expands our product offering but also underscores our commitment to value-creating M&A initiatives.”

GCC, founded in 1941, is a producer of aggregates, cement, concrete and construction‐related services in the U.S. and Mexico. The company has an annual cement production capacity of 6 million metric tons.
