The three-day AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo and World of Asphalt attracted a record 15,800 industry professionals to the Music City Center last week in Nashville. The Pit & Quarry staff spent all three days on the trade show floor attending press conferences, visiting exhibitors and connecting with readers at the magazine’s booth. Here’s a look at a few of the folks P&Q encountered at AGG1 2024.
Stephen Whyte (left) and Chris Worley offered the magazine details about Astec’s new Vari-Frequency screen technology, which they expect to “revolutionize the screen industry.” Says Whyte: “Anybody who’s run a screen has had a blinding issue somewhere along the line.
