Furukawa Rock Drill (FRD) USA released the F-Check system, a QR code system designed to optimize dealer and end-user operations.

According to the company, F-Check provides dealers with smartphone access to product identification, specifications and other information for all FRD Tier IV drills and the majority of its attachments.

On a dealer lot, users can scan the QR code on an attachment to determine size and configuration, specifications and carrier compatibility. Similarly, F-Check QR codes on FRD drills allow users to access the drill model, specifications and maintenance intervals.

On the job site, operators can also have on-the-go access to this information, as well as shipping dimensions for each drill, on a single, scrollable page, the company adds.

“With just a couple clicks, our customers – and their customers – can access important equipment information,” says Jeff Crane, president of FRD USA. “F-Check enables our dealers to raise the industry standard of customer service even higher and allows dealers to identify their inventory and operations more efficiently.”

Furukawa Rock Drill USA manufactures blast hole drills, hydraulic breakers and various other attachments for skid steer, mini excavators, backhoes and excavators.
