Fisher Industries marked the 65th year in business for Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. this summer, as well as the 50th year for General Steel & Supply Co.
Fisher Industries commemorated the golden anniversary of its manufacturing division in Dickinson, North Dakota, with four days of celebration. The celebration included open houses for dealers, vendors and customers.
Fisher Industries also held another open house for the general public. As part of the occasion, a local radio station did a live broadcast that consisted of on-air interviews with key personnel and management, including company president Tommy Fisher.
Guests of this open house were given tours of Fisher Industries’ manufacturing facilities. In addition, they were able to see and learn about some of the company’s finished equipment pieces.
