Metso expanded its MX wear parts offering to large cone crushers. According to Metso, the new MX for cones offering is designed to maximize wear part lifetime in secondary cone crushing applications for mining and quarry operators. The Metso-developed inserting technology helps to maintain the optimal wear profile for longer by ensuring better liner utilization when compared to standard manganese liners, the company says. MX for cones can provide up to double the wear life in secondary crushing applications, Metso adds.

Customizable fabric buildings feature structural steel frame

Legacy Building Solutions offers fabric structures that are fully customizable. The company’s design concept provides a level of flexibility for processing and storage of bulk materials, vehicle maintenance facilities and other structures for mining operations. Legacy’s fabric buildings utilize a rigid frame in place of the hollow-tube, open-web truss “hoop” framing traditionally used for fabric structures. The strength of the structural steel frame provides several engineering advantages, the company says, including the ability to customize buildings to the exact width, length and height required.
