EvoQuip, a Terex brand, plans to unveil its latest innovation, the Colt 1000 scalping screen, at Hillhead 2018.
Hillhead takes place June 26-28 in Buxton, England.
The Colt 1000 is the largest screen in the Colt line and is capable of processing up to 403 tph depending on application, according Terex. The machine incorporates a double-deck screen measuring 13 ft. x 4 ft. The variable screening angle and a number of screen media options enable the Colt 1000 to operate in both heavy-duty scalping and precision screening applications, as well as manage difficult materials.
Additionally, the full 13-ft. bottom deck ensures optimal classification in fine screening applications.
The Colt 1000 features a compact footprint, Terex adds. The standard configuration discharges the fines product to the right side of the plant, with the mid-grade on the left. Both conveyors can be ordered reversed as an option, with the ability to place both conveyors on the same side of the unit once the Colt 1000 reaches the field.
Flexibility is further enhanced with a two-way split conversion by simply relocating the tail conveyor to collect both top- and bottom-deck pieces, the company says. The Colt 1000 can also be fitted with the T-Link telemetry system, which provides users with real-time information about the performance of their machine.
