Eriez launched a new suspended electromagnet series with units that feature stronger magnets housed in smaller enclosures, reducing overall weight and installation costs while optimizing performance efficiency. The new SEV series is integrated in the Eriez SE7000 line, with the new models leveraging wire and conductor technology to energize the magnet circuit. The company says the new electromagnets require less coolant for operation, and the new wire configuration, which features an ultra-thin anodized insulation layer, provides superior thermal conductivity and ensures high heat dissipation within the circuit for improved magnet performance.

Command Alkon launched Material Supply, a cloud system that digitally manages raw material receipts and integrates with major batch and dispatch systems. As Command Alkon describes, Material Supply changes the way producers manage their inventories. The system allows users to monitor and update stock levels, coordinate material flows and automate back-office processes. By integrating Command Cloud shared tickets, Command Alkon says suppliers can easily share delivery tickets, reducing the need for manual data entry by plant operators. Customers can also digitize paper tickets using mobile capture or scanners, facilitating a smooth transition to a digital workflow.

Three new features were added to Caterpillar’s VisionLink Productivity online web platform: Cat Grade & Compact, Operator Coaching, and E-Ticketing. Cat says its unified platform is designed to give managers insights into jobsite productivity and equipment utilization. The scalable, cloud-based application collects and summarizes data from any subscribed machine equipped with a Cat Product Link device, allowing fleets with mixed OEM equipment to incorporate into one unified platform.

The new Senzit Pro tool allows fleet managers and owner-operators to track the health of their fleet. According to Senzit, Senzit Pro is an integral part of its predictive maintenance portfolio, monitoring a variety of areas related to fleets – including oil. Senzit Pro’s oil analysis offers users immediate detection and overall health assessment of oil conditions, addressing anomalies such as water, acid, fuel, viscosity changes, different oil types, carbon and particles. Additionally, the company says Senzit Pro users can conduct a comprehensive review of their assets’ consumables in under five minutes. 4G LTE-powered results, meanwhile, are stored and easily accessible via a mobile app, customer portal or email.
