The DA40 articulated dump truck (ADT) offers reduced fuel consumption and a new transmission offering eight forward and four reverse speeds, according to Doosan. In addition, the ADT offers an increased body capacity of 34 cu. yd. and a payload of 40 metric tons without a tailgate. Doosan says its free-swinging rear tandem bogie and special articulation system offer excellent driving performance in difficult terrain. Also, a new cab provides more space, improved visibility and reduced noise levels.
