Dodge Industrial, a manufacturer of bearings, gearing and power transmission components, named David Gilbert company president.

Gilbert joined Dodge nearly 20 years ago. According to Dodge, Gilbert is an experienced manufacturing and operations management leader with proven knowledge and demonstrated results in the industrial automation industry.

“I am very pleased to see David, a long-term and highly respected veteran of Dodge, taking over the office of president,” says Michael Hartnett, president and CEO of RBC Bearings, which is Dodge’s parent company. “David is an outstanding choice for the position, and I have every confidence he will lead the organization to continued success in industrial products and guide us on the development of our future product offerings. I look forward to working closely with David and all of the Dodge team in the coming years.”

Gilbert joined Dodge in 1998 as an engineering supervisor, and he has held a number of leadership positions with the company. Gilbert most recently served as vice president of operations and manufacturing, a role in which he was responsible for initiatives to drive continuous improvement and greater efficiency in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost control across all Dodge locations.

As president, Dodge says Gilbert will drive the company’s growth and continue its focus on innovation and providing quality products and service to customers.

“This is an exciting time for our business with our new ownership and our recent move to a collaborative working environment at our new corporate headquarters,” Gilbert says. “I’m truly honored for the opportunity to lead Dodge during these exciting times and to continue our strong legacy.”
