Derrick Corp.’s Pond Elimination Technology eliminates settlement ponds in aggregate production and does not require belt press and plate and frame press units. The system consists of a Derrick HI-G Dryer, Vertical Tower (VT) high-compression thickeners, and high-speed DE-7200 centrifuge. The HI-G Dryer with Derrick hydrocyclones receives discharge flow from a screw classifier or other feed source. Oversize material containing 85 percent solids is discharged from the HI-G Dryer and recovered as product.
