The new Bio-Ultimax 1000 fluids feature biodegradable, biosynthetic formulas that perform like mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids but are environmentally friendly, Renewable Lubricants says. Ideal for stationary or mobile environments, the fluids can be used in systems up to 10,000 psi and those with ultra-fine filtration. Bio-Ultimax 1000’s extremely low volatility increases the flash and fire safety features, making it safer to use, the company adds. The zinc-free fluids are also formulated to provide a longer seal life with reduced oil leakage.

The Sand Viper modular drop tee from Bailey-Parks Urethane is designed to withstand the most abrasive products in applications such as frac sand. The modular drop tee limits abrasion to its removable adapters only, thereby eliminating the need to replace the drop tee itself, according to the company. It is customizable and features lined aluminum pipe, which can be used to build a complete piping system to fit nearly any specification. The drop tee can be used with a variety of adapters, including male threads, female threads and victaulic wear adapters, and producers can rotate the adapters for a longer wear life.
