The final sales of bonds to fix roads and bridges along with an increase in commercial development.
What are the greatest opportunities available to aggregate producers within your state in 2024?
Continued funding from both the state and federal government to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.
What are the greatest challenges aggregate producers in your state will face in 2024?
Increased public resistance for the opening and/or expansion of new aggregate operations.
Anything else you’d like to add related to the current state of the aggregate industry?
While Michigan’s aggregate industry remains strong, there is concern about a sharp decrease in transportation funding in the near future unless a viable long-term funding solution is implemented.
