Continental named Anne Baarup head of sustainability for the company’s group sector, ContiTech.
Baarup is responsible for the strategic direction and global management of sustainability activities for the company’s industrial business. She will report to Claus Spille, head of operations at ContiTech.
Baarup has spent the last eight years at Continental in various roles. She has experience in materials technology, HR and organizational development. Most recently, Baarup was employed as head of material technology solutions for Continental’s tire business, where she promoted the research and implementation of sustainable materials.
“Anne Baarup will further develop our strategic priorities and activities in the area of sustainability and ensure their global implementation,” Spille says. “Her experience and knowledge in the field of materials ensures that we will continue to develop sustainable material solutions for the various environmental challenges of our customers, industries and markets.
