According to organizers, the pavilion, which will be located in Silver Lot 3 outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center, will feature emerging technologies for job sites of the future; innovative wearables to enhance health, safety and productivity; cutting-edge skills for careers of the future; and new materials to enhance infrastructure.

“The Tech Experience will not only present a vision for the future of our industry, but it will also raise awareness of technologies that enhance safety, productivity and profitability,” says Sara Truesdale Mooney, show director and vice president exhibitions and business development for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. “Attendees will explore three key zones: the worksite of the future, the jobs of the future and the infrastructure of the future. We’ll also feature additional engagement zones including a Maker Beta Lab that will feature a collaborative future factory environment and the world’s first fully functional 3-D-printed excavator.”

The 75,000 sq.-ft. Tech Experience pavilion will be dedicated entirely to presenting new construction innovations and emerging technologies that will drive change and process improvement across the industry, organizers add.

ConExpo-Con/Agg will take place March 7-11, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show, which will be co-located with the International Exposition for Power Transmission exhibition, will feature a 75,000-sq.-ft. pavilion for equipment and product demonstrations. The theme of the 2017 event is “Imagine What’s Next.”
