The new facility comes as Command Alkon celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. The company says the new headquarters reflects its continued investment in Ohio, as well as its long-term commitment to supporting infrastructure, construction and economic growth.

“Opening our new headquarters in Hilliard is both a celebration of our history and a statement about our future,” says Martin Willoughby, CEO of Command Alkon. “Ohio has been an important part of our story for decades, and this facility allows us to continue innovating while investing in our people, our customers and the communities we serve.”

Most recently, Command Alkon was based in Dublin, Ohio, just 7.5 miles away from its new headquarters. Prior to Dublin, the company was headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

While the move to Hilliard was a short one geographically, Willoughby says a lot went into the transition.

“It was not individuals [that made this happen], it was the team,” he says. “A group of people coming together. We had a vision … and now it has all come together. It’s an incredible facility, [and] I think it’s symbolic of where we are as a company. We’re 50 years strong, we stand on the shoulders of the people who helped build this company over the last 50 years – but we’re also looking forward.”

For Willoughby, even at the start of the company’s 50th anniversary, his sights are set on the future.

“We’re looking ahead to the future and the kind of company we want to be,” he says. “We’re making an investment in this community to be here for the long term.”
