Command Alkon introduced TicketPro, a solution to digitize 100 percent of material and haul tickets that enter a production facility or jobsite by extracting data through optical character recognition technology.
According to Command Alkon, TicketPro offers a simplistic and flexible approach to digitizing ticket data that ensures material supply operations, material haulers and construction project jobsites can remove paper tickets from their process. Within the TicketPro system, a ticket signer selects a project, chooses the material being hauled and snaps a picture of the paper ticket. The system can also utilize scanner integration or capture tickets directly from a scale printer with an interface that imports the tickets as soon as they are created by a scale operator.
“TicketPro makes it possible to capture paper tickets and redigitize them,” says Michael Bordelon, director of product development for Connex at Command Alkon. “Once the tickets are digitized, we can do some incredible things with the digital data, such as job cost reporting, accruals reporting, invoice reconciliation, understand quantities delivered and foster more insights that can help to run a more efficient job.”
Additionally, Command Alkon says TicketPro provides a complete picture of all the loads that come in, taking data on the invoice and matching it against actual ticketing data for deliveries in the system.
With TicketPro’s invoice portal, material buyers can communicate with material suppliers in seconds to make sure their records match – and then process the invoice within hours. Suppliers can also request early payments to fill in cash flow gaps.
TicketPro integrates with multiple accounting software solutions, Command Alkon says.
