Cemex was recognized as one of the 2025 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, which assesses organizations based on a variety of factors related to practices supporting robust ethics and compliance, governance and other criteria.
Ethisphere’s assessment also factors in a culture of ethics, environmental and social impact, and initiatives that support a strong value chain.
Cemex says the data Ethisphere collects undergoes further qualitative analysis by a panel of experts, which spends thousands of hours vetting and evaluating each year’s applicants.
“We are pleased to be among this select group of companies with a strong commitment to integrity, leadership, ethics and compliance programs,” says Fernando González, CEO of Cemex. “Ethics is a core value at Cemex, and this recognition highlights our employees’ contributions to fostering a culture of transparency and trust.”
The Ethisphere list for 2025 recognizes 136 companies across 19 countries and 44 industries. Goodyear, John Deere and Timken appear alongside Cemex on this year’s list.
“Congratulations to Cemex for being recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies,” says Erica Salmon Byrne, Ethisphere’s chief strategy officer and executive chair. “Behind this honor is a true dedication and commitment to advancing business integrity. This approach is good for business, [as] employees and other stakeholders value companies that prioritize the kinds of practices we measure through our process.”
