Cat conveyor rolls feature a new shaft end configuration that allows retrofitting rolls into just about any manufacturer’s frame with a special retrofit adaptor. The end cap has been designed for superior strength and a close fit to the deflector cap. The automated assembly process includes three separate, metered grease inputs to ensure every roll has enough grease for a lifetime of trouble-free operation. The bearing cavity design allows for extra lubricant capacity, helping to ensure grease stays in the bearing. Grease moves due to the taper of the rolling elements in the bearing and expansion and contraction during operation.
