Bunting Magnetics added Mark Friesen as global marketing director and Tony Rampino as sales manager for the Americas.
Friesen will fill the position held by Michael Wilks who is retiring in March. Friesen and Wilks will have dual roles in the marketing position ahead of Wilks’ retirement.

According to Bunting, Friesen has a background in manufactured products marketing to the powder & bulk solids, plastics, and lawn & turf equipment industries. He will be based in the company’s Newton, Kansas headquarters and manufacturing facility.
When Wilks retires in March, it will mark the end of his a 23-year career with Bunting that included positions such as global marketing director, sales director, general manager and product manager of printing products.
Rampino joins Bunting with more than 20 years of experience in equipment sales in the food, pharma, plastics, chemical, recycling and automation industries. He spent the last 13 years in leadership roles overseeing sales and marketing departments working with all levels of an organization, partnering with finance, manufacturing and service to ensure strong teamwork and customer relations, according to Bunting.

Rampino previously worked for Bunting from 2002 to 2008 as territory manager for Illinois and Wisconsin. In his new role, Rampino will be working closely with Bunting’s extensive network of territory managers, inside sales and customer service personnel to offer customer-focused solutions where magnetic separation, metal detection, metal sorting and recycling, and custom conveying can solve customer problems.
“Knowing what works and what doesn’t work is key to solving most challenging applications in today’s processing and recycling industries,” Rampino says. “That’s where the experience of Bunting comes into play. Bunting has been solving customer challenges through the use of magnetic technology and related equipment since 1959.”
