Buffalo Wire Works purchases Bison Steel

Buffalo Wire Works acquired Bison Steel, a manufacturer of high-abrasion-resistant welded wire screens used in the aggregate and mining industries.

According to Buffalo Wire Works, Bison Steel screens are designed to reduce maintenance and increase production by up to 15 percent.

With the acquisition, Buffalo Wire Works incorporates Bison Steel screens into its product portfolio.

Buffalo Wire Works has manufactured screen media and wear solutions for the aggregate, mining and industrial markets for more than 150 years. The company aims to produce highly engineered and unique products that provide the lowest possible operating cost per ton.

Buffalo Wire Works’ range of products includes woven wire and self-cleaning screens – including the PFX-HT screen technology, urethane and rubber screening systems, and a line of wear protection.
