It happens only once every three years, a brief opportunity for aggregate producers to see the latest equipment and technology for their operations — all in one place. The show is ConExpo-Con/Agg, and equipment manufacturers spend a great deal of time and money to showcase their offerings at this enormous event. The millions of square feet of exhibit space encompass not only the entire three halls of the Las Vegas Convention center, but also surrounding facilities and parking lots. If there’s a viable space within a stone’s throw of the convention center, you’re sure to see a piece of equipment on it.
Concurrent with the ConExpo, the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) will hold its annual convention, and we will host the second annual Pit & Quarry Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony. It’s all happening in Las Vegas the week of March 2.
In our upcoming March issue, we dedicate 58 pages to ConExpo-Con/Agg and the NSSGA Convention. Plus, delivered with the issue, is our Aggregates Show Guide to ConExpo-Con/Agg, which includes a map, booth numbers and profiles of must-see exhibitors.
In that issue, you’ll find: an overview of the show beginning; details of the education sessions most applicable to aggregate producers; short profiles of our Hall of Fame inductees; the complete NSSGA convention schedule; and interviews with association chairman, Ward Nye, and vice president of member services, Pamala Bouchard.
And our coverage extends beyond the print magazine. Our editors will cover all of the happenings and report on them through three special editions of our enewsletter, delivered live from the event. So be sure you are signed up to receive P&Q Weekly Report.
The newsletter will feature breaking news from the show, the latest announcements from the major equipment manufacturers, the newest technological advancements, as well as things to do around Vegas if you happen to be attending the event.
