Balkrishna Industries, the manufacturer that operates as BKT USA in North America, plans to build an off-the-road tire plant in the United States, reports Rubber & Plastics News.
The company has expanded in the U.S. market in recent years, reporting about $93 million in revenue here in 2017-18. BKT is reportedly exploring sites in the Midwest for its plant and could begin domestic tire production by early 2021.
