BKT hires head of OE sales

BKT Tires, the Akron, Ohio, subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries, hired Mike Connor as its head of OE sales.

Connor has more than 25 years of experience in the off-highway tire and wheel industry. His previous work experience includes serving as general manager of Mefro Wheels USA and president/COO of Redco Wheel, located in Pennsylvania.

“Mike brings extensive expertise and vision, which will aid in creating additional sales and developing our OE partnerships,” says Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of Balkrishna Industries in India. “We strongly feel he is an important asset to our company.”

Connor will be working out of the company’s Akron office.
