BinMaster joined Kansas State University’s Bulk Solids Innovation Center (BSIC) to help educate students on level measurement sensors and technology.
In conjunction with the partnership, BinMaster will be offering a session during BSIC’s upcoming three-day course, “Storage Flow of Bulk Solids,” which is set to take place March 31 to April 2 in Salina, Kansas.
According to BinMaster, the session will cover the types of point and continuous level measurement sensors with a focus on how each technology works and is applied in a plant environment. The company also will demonstrate how to integrate an inventory management system into a plant using wireless communication devices and software to make operations more efficient.
The course is open to students and professionals interested in furthering their knowledge in bulk solids handling. Registration for the course is open to both domestic and global attendees, and the cost for the three-day course is $1,300.
“It is a privilege to have been asked to participate and be able to contribute to the educational mission of the BSIC,” says Nathan Grube, course instructor and regional vice president at BinMaster. “The coursework provided by the Bulk Solids Innovation Center prepares industrial professionals to tap into the power of the latest technology, and it’s an honor to be part of that.”
BinMaster manufactures point and continuous level indicators and inventory management systems used for monitoring bulk solids or liquids in bins, tanks, silos and hoppers. The mission of the BSIC is to serve customers by offering innovative solutions that enhance productivity through ground-breaking research, product testing and global education related to bulk solids storage, flow and conveying.
