Dings Overhead Stationary Electromagnets

If tramp metal is rare, but must be removed… Sometimes, Simpler is Better. Dings Overhead Stationary Electromagnets are engineered to protect your conveyors, crushers, screens and other valuable processing equipment from the damage caused by tramp metal. Our stationary magnet has no moving parts to break down, making it virtually maintenance-free. All you need to do is periodically check the cooling oil. The stationary model has no self-cleaning belt sag, allowing for a reduced suspension height over the conveyor belt. This increases the magnet’s separation performance making the use of a smaller, more economical magnet a possibility. All Dings electromagnets employ our unique coil design of anodized aluminum strap that outperforms the insulated wire used by others. This design allows each turn of our coil to be exposed to cooling oil - assuring a stronger, more efficient magnet. Without needing wire insulation material that can burn, our electromagnets don’t require an external oil expansion tank or piping. All necessary cooling oil can be held in the magnet box itself. Eagle Iron Works: Classifying Tanks

Eagle Iron Works’ Classifying Tanks play a critical role in washing and classifying sand by removing silts, managing water content, and producing multiple in-spec products from a single feed. As slurry enters the tank, sand particles settle by size along its length. The stalled paddle in each station indicates that enough material has accumulated to open the valves, which release sand into flumes to be recombined for downstream dewatering. EIW’s advanced control system and sand reblending software ensure consistent, spec-grade products even as feed material varies. EIW Classifying Tanks are available in stationary, semi-portable, and portable configurations to meet a range of operational needs. Stationary tanks offer high customization, semi-portable setups allow for faster installation, and portable units provide flexibility for mobile operations. A standout example of long-term reliability comes from Silvi Materials, which has successfully operated two EIW Classifying Tanks since the late 1990s. Their equipment continues to perform with minimal downtime, prompting the company to replicate the setup at a new site. According to Brian Adams, Silvi’s Area… Keep Reading
