New mining show in Las Vegas this summer
MINExpo International doesn't return for another two-plus years, but a brand-new mining show is coming to Las Vegas this year. The 2018 Mining & Exploration International Conference & Expo (MEI2018) will be held Sept. 6-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Workforce development, sustainability, community and technology are the conference's primary areas of emphasis. According to the show organizer, MEI2018 will provide a forum for international leaders in mining, exploration and associated industries to share their expertise and pore over the latest research, challenges and trends that will shape the future of the industry. The conference schedule includes presentations, poster sessions and workshops. "We are very pleased to offer an opportunity for an international audience to address these critical topics," says Madalena Maestri, conference director. "We’re putting together a powerhouse lineup of speakers and moderators who will share their expertise, technology advancements and the latest research."
