Doosan: DL550-3 wheel loader

Doosan's DL550-3 wheel loader replaces the DL500 model and is the largest one in the company's line. With an operating weight of 69,655 lbs., a breakout force of 58,450 lbs. and a full-turn tipping capacity of 48,061 lbs., the DL550-3 is designed for larger material handling applications. Hp has been increased to 380 with a six-cylinder diesel engine that has been optimized for use with selective catalyst reduction and diesel exhaust fluid to comply with Interim Tier 4 emission regulations. Breaker Technology Inc.: TRX64 Rockbreaker system

Weighing more than 110,000 lbs., the new TRX64 Rockbreaker system combines a reach of 64 ft. and a breaker impact force of 12,000 ft.-lbs. The TRX Series booms range in length from 48 to 64 ft., carrying breakers from 8,500 to 20,000 ft.-lbs. classes, depending on reach. Wabash MPI: G28-12-PCR-X

Wabash MPI has developed a proppant crush test press for use with sand, resin-coated sand and ceramic proppant used in the fracking process.  The model G28-12-PCR-X in the Genesis Series offers compression force ranging between 2 and 28 tons within a 2.5 percent deviation. The 12-in. x 12-in., full-guided hardened plates have adjustable stops for crush die centering. Komatsu America Corp.: PC490LC-10 hydraulic excavator

Komatsu America Corp.'s PC490LC-10 hydraulic excavator is Tier 4 Interim certified. This excavator is equipped with the latest Komtrax technology, which sends machine-operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology. Data such as operating hours, location, cautions and maintenance alerts are relayed to the web application for analysis. Case Construction Equipment: F Series wheel loader line

The F Series wheel loader line from Case Construction Equipment includes the 1021F and 1121F, a size class of machines specifically engineered for quarry, aggregate and truck-loading applications. According to Case, the hydro-mechanical transmission on the wheel loaders provides additional fuel savings, faster acceleration and faster hydraulic cycle times. The 1021F features a 296-hp engine, a 5.5-cu.-yd. bucket, a dump height of 121 in. and an operating weight of 53,500 lbs. The 1121F, rated at 320 hp, has a 6.25-cu.-yd. bucket, a dump height of 126 in. and an operating weight of 60,800 lbs. DSC Dredge LLC: Dredge Series

DSC offers five standard dredge models – including the Marlin Class Underwater Pump Mining Dredge and the Shark Class Cutter Suction Dredge – all of which can be ordered as-is or customized to a specific application. The Shark is known for its conventional dredge-operating configuration, with modular design for ease of operation. The Marlin can dig more than 150 ft. with its underwater pump and high-torque cutter drive assembly. Both are capable of digging deeper and producing more, while dramatically reducing overall cost per ton, the company says. The new PRO3-B and UG360-B Advanced Equipment Simulators represent an upgrade to Immersive Technologies’ PRO3 and UG360 models. They feature an Enhanced Trainer Station, a dual-monitor interface that allows a trainer to better manage the simulator during a session. Trainers can now observe a 3D view, trigger events, review errors as they occur, generate reports, administer scenarios and learners all while running training sessions, vastly improving trainer efficiency. The two-screen setup allows a trainer to administer the simulator on one screen, while a view of the session is run on the second screen. Baldor Electric Co.’s new MST Soft Starter with six SCR three-phase voltage control offers advanced protection for the motor, the soft starter and the load.
