Komen® Memorial in "PHIL’s Pink Tailgate Initiative" to fight breast cancer. Starting this past July, PHIL customers purchasing PHIL Autogate® Tailgates are presented with the opportunity to participate in the Pink Tailgate Initiative. For each Pink Tailgate purchased, PHIL has committed to donate 5% of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Memorial. ASGCO External Skirtboard
ASGCO's external skirtboard and wear liners are designed to protect a conveyor's skirtboards and sealing system. These are mounted on the outside of a skirtboard, allowing for easy inspection and liner replacement when required. According to ASGCO, the external skirtboard and wear liners maintain an ideal distance from the conveyor to keep dust and fugitive material from escaping the load zone area. The combo is mounted outside the existing skirtboard, and an adjustable bolt-on system allows for ease of adjustment and safe removal without entering the internal area of the load zone. External skirtboards and wear liners can be manufactured from mild steel, AR 400 or 500 abrasion-resistant plates, or stainless steel. Terex Washing Systems Aggresand Plant
Terex Washing Systems' Aggresand plant combines aggregate and sand washing on one modular chassis, producing three aggregates and two sands in one machine. The Aggresand provides a throughput capacity of 250 tph and can be erected in one day, according to the company. The plant fits into six shipping containers. Quick setup time is achieved in part through "plug-and-play" plumbing and electrical wiring, compared with traditional methods in which this work is carried out onsite after installation. Caterpillar 775G Off-Highway Truck
The 775G off-highway truck, which meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards, offers a combination of new drive train strategies and a 5 percent power increase over the previous model, according to Caterpillar. The combo enables the 70-ton-payload class truck to hold a higher gear when climbing 10 percent grades in most applications. Several new components and control changes boost efficiency, Cat says. A key is Cat's transmission controls. The system enhances productivity, fuel efficiency and drivetrain durability and enables enhanced machine control. Martin Engineering High-Speed Impact Cradle
Martin Engineering's high-speed impact cradle is designed to reduce roller and frame damage from heavy conveyor-loading conditions. The company's EVO high-speed impact cradle is specifically engineered to withstand brutal operating conditions, reducing roller failures and service requirements, Martin Engineering says. The cradles use the company's Trac-mount technology to easily slide in and out for maintenance. The modular components are light enough to be removed by hand, without using a crane or other equipment to handle them. The load zone design uses an elastomer bar suspension system that absorbs and distributes the material load being transferred, reducing the stress on the idlers’ rolling components and support structure.
