Austin Powder promoted Ross Ellis to vice president of national accounts, effective April 1.
Ellis will report to Mark Dawson, president of U.S. and Canada services.
“Ross is a proven commercial and operational leader with a strong track record of success within Austin Powder and the industry,” says John Rathbun, president and CEO of Austin Powder. “He is the right person to lead this critical segment of our business as we pursue our growth initiatives.”
With nearly two decades in the industry, Ellis most recently served as president of Austin Powder’s Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Austin Powder says his experience in blasting service operations, together with expertise in commercial and account leadership, will strengthen partnerships with the company’s largest national accounts.
Brad Splitt will assist with the transition through June 30. After that date, Splitt will lead Austin Powder’s Southeast region.
