Philippi-Hagenbuch (PHIL) designed the Autogate tailgate to maximize haul truck utilization, increasing haul capacities by as much as 20 percent while also providing added safety and extended tire life, the company says. PHIL tailgates include models suited for both articulated and rigid-frame trucks, making them a solution for everything from quarries to coal mines and mineral mining applications. The increased volume capacity proves effective for hard and rocky or liquid materials. PHIL designed the Autogate tailgates as a solution for maximizing the truck’s volumetric capacity while reducing spillage. The company constructed the Autogate series with a specific spec for each make and model of both articulated and rigid-frame trucks.
