Acquisition to impact ContiTech in the U.S.

Continental Corp. acquired Veyance Technologies Inc., an Ohio-based rubber and plastics manufacturer, for $1.9 billion. Continental plans to integrate Veyance into its ContiTech division that includes a conveyor belt group and a fluid technology business unit.
