The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) named Patrick Cleary, senior vice president of U.S. cement commercial at Amrize, as its 2026 chairman of the board.

Cleary has held his current position at Amrize since June. He previously spent 23 years at Holcim US – including seven years as senior vice president of cement sales.

“Patrick is a dynamic and experienced leader who brings a positive, team-oriented energy that will drive ACPA to be a better association,” says Laura O’Neill Kaumo, president and CEO of ACPA. “It’s going to be a great year under his leadership as we will truly explore how the association can be used to influence markets and promote concrete paving in every corner of the United States.”

As board chairman, Cleary looks forward to advancing ACPA’s mission.

“ACPA has long been a strong voice for the construction industry, and I’m honored to serve as chair,” he says. “Through my work at Amrize, I’ve seen firsthand how our industry helps shape America by building the infrastructure that supports growth, mobility and opportunity.”
