Solution for riprap, clay-heavy materials
The M515 is ideal for creating riprap and recovering rocks that are mixed with clay and other sticky materials, according to MDS. The M515 was recently redesigned to include features that improve transportation, access and stockpile heights. An enhanced engine in the model now includes a swing-out feature and a swing-out access platform that makes access to the cabinet easier. Also, the location of the engine was changed to the side of the unit, enabling customers to fit the unit on smaller bed trailers in North America and lower their transportation costs. The fines and mid-product conveyors were made longer to increase stockpile heights, MDS adds.

Conveyor delivers improved material quality and efficient stockpiling
ProStack launched the TW 36-150, a 150-ft. radial telescopic conveyor. The TW 36-150 is the latest addition to ProStack’s range of telescopic conveyors, which spans from 140 ft. to 190 ft. and caters to applications including quarrying and ship loading. The new conveyor is engineered for multiple stockpiling applications, including quarrying and mining, with features designed to maximize efficiency and ease of use, according to ProStack. With a 150-ft. telescopic reach and radial capability, it offers a stockpile capacity exceeding 48 ft., 10 in. tall and accommodates up to 102,696 cu. yd. of material. The TW 36-150 also incorporates standard automated stockpile patterns to help minimize material segregation, degradation, contamination and compaction, while also delivering improved material quality and more efficient stockpiling.

Skid steers, compact track loaders designed for simplified service
Manitou launched three large-frame skid steers (the 3250 V, 3350 V and 3600 V) and two compact track loaders (CTLs) (the 3350 VT and 3600 VT). The offerings range in operating capacity from 3,250 lbs. to 3,600 lbs. The company says each new model is a ground-up, modern industrial redesign featuring breakout force, hydraulic horsepower and auxiliary hydraulic performance. Manitou says the engine compartment design – as well as easy access to daily service check and fill points – makes service on its new skid steers and CTLs simpler. The tilt-up hydraulic cooler provides a low profile, improving rear visibility and allowing for easier access to engine compartment service points. Additionally, the cooling fan comes with optional reversing capabilities to improve cooling performance and keep the engine compartment clear of debris.
