ABB completed its acquisition of Aurora Motors, a vertical pump motor provider with a corporate office and distribution center in Hayward, California.
Aurora Motors’ engineering and operations are located in China.
According to ABB, the addition of Aurora Motors allows its NEMA motors division to enhance its product offering, expand its supply chain and improve support to customers around the world. NEMA motors are used to run equipment in industries such as aggregates and mining.
Financial terms of ABB’s deal were not disclosed.
