LJ Inc., a provider of turnkey aggregate plant solutions, acquired Supreme Manufacturing.
Based in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, Supreme’s main product lines are floating clamshell dredges and conveyors, ancillary dredge equipment such as buckets, rock barges and work boats, land conveyors, bins and hoppers, and components.
“We are excited to be able to announce – and blessed to be able to add – Supreme Manufacturing to our line of premium solutions that we can offer to our customers,” says Tracy Slieff, vice president of LJ Inc., which is based in Swartz Creek, Michigan. “We are also excited to be able to welcome the Supreme staff into the LJ family of companies. We are looking forward to being able to serve Supreme customers with the LJ line of services.”
As LJ Inc. describes, the need to access sand and gravel under water in deeper deposits is becoming greater.
“We feel so incredibly blessed for this new opportunity to take over a company whose success has been 30-plus years in the making,” says Laura Slieff, president of LJ Inc. “We only hope to enhance [Supreme’s] offerings to the industry by combining our teams and experience. We are excited for this new chapter and look forward to serving the industry.”
Neil Hoobler, the longtime president of Supreme Manufacturing, looks forward to watching the Slieffs guide Supreme moving forward.
“We are thankful and blessed that over the past 33-plus years, Supreme has grown into the world’s prominent clamshell dredge manufacturer,” says Neil and Sherry Hoobler.
