Finlay intends to unveil electric variants of its I-120RS impact crushing plant and the 883+ scalping screen plant at Hillhead 2024 next month.
The plants will be showcased in the working demonstration area of the June 25-27 show in the U.K., featuring electric-powered technology that enables operation from either a mains electric power supply or a secondary source like a genset. The live demonstrations will be powered by the new Finlay TG500 genset.
As Finlay describes, the electrification of the two plants represents an ongoing effort to offer environmentally friendly solutions without compromising on performance or reliability.
“We are excited to unveil our latest electric equipment at Hillhead 2024,” says Matt Dickson, business line director at Finlay. “The features integrated into these electric machines will empower customers to achieve their sustainability objectives while maintaining the mobility and ease of movement that are hallmarks of our equipment.”
According to Finlay, the electric I-120RS provides the flexibility of a mobile impact crushing and screening plant on one platform. Finlay says the onboard quick detach 12-ft. x 5-ft. two-deck screen ensures a quality cubical product.
For applications not requiring recirculation of materials for further processing or stockpiling, Finlay says the complete screening and recirculating system can be quickly detached from the plant.
Finlay’s electric 883+ heavy-duty scalper, meanwhile, is designed to work in primary and secondary screening applications such as quarrying, mining, sand, gravel and construction demolition waste.
