Our complete line of Mantis CEMA C idlers incorporates the Defender ® 5204 double row ball bearings. Our Defender ® bearing can withstand radial loads while also handling bidirectional axial loads. This limits the axial displacement of the shaft and the housing within the axial clearance of the bearing. Enabling a more consistent load distribution in the bearing and thus a higher dynamic load carrying capacity of the bearings. The final result is longer bearing life which correlates to overall extended idler life.
Toolless idler roll change out.
The Mantis idler end stand hinge design reduces idler roll replacement time by an estimated 30% compared to traditional methods. Our tool-free, no-lift, clipless approach means you can say goodbye to the hassle of screws and the risk of losing parts while in the field.
Steel cast center bracket.
Also, our steel cast center bracket does not utilize a metal “clip” to hold the idler rolls in place. The traditional clip design requires tooling to remove/reinstall. Staying with the Mantis toolless concept, no need to remove the center metal clip as required by most idler manufactures.
