Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. expanded its distribution in the central U.S. with a new partnership, establishing an agreement with Kirby-Smith Machinery.
Kirby-Smith will now sell, service and offer rentals on Thompson Pump products throughout Oklahoma and north and West Texas, focusing on industries such as mining, construction, and oil and gas.
“We are very excited about this partnership as it brings Thompson Pump’s products and name recognition to a region with plenty of competitors,” says Pat Broderick, national sales manager at Thompson Pump. “Kirby-Smith is one of the premier equipment dealers in the central U.S., and the continuity of products and services it provides to this market is key to our growth in the area.”
Sam Schneider, general manager of industrial equipment at Kirby-Smith, also sees value in the partnership.

Kirby-Smith is headquartered in Oklahoma City.
