JP Mitchell joined Terex MPS as regional sales manager for Cedarapids, Simplicity and Canica crushing and screening equipment.
According to Terex MPS, Mitchell will work closely with the company’s existing distribution network to manage and grow the business while looking for further opportunities to expand through new distribution opportunities.
Mitchell has an engineering background and 15 years of industry experience, the company adds. After graduating with an engineering degree, Mitchell’s career began with various engineering- and sales-type roles in Indiana.
Mitchell started his career with Aggregate Manufacturing International as a design engineer before moving through various departments as engineering manager, project manager, Indiana sales territory manager and operations manager. Mitchell has worked in the past with the Simplicity and Canica brands, as well as manufacturers like Telsmith, Hazemag, Astec, Gator, Allied and more.
“We are excited to have JP on board as he brings valuable experience to the team with his engineering and dealership backgrounds,” says Russ Burns, sales director at Terex MPS. “With his experience in the industry, I know he is eager to hit the ground running.”
