The B50D articulated dump truck (ADT) has a 50-ton rated capacity. The B50D, which runs on a Mercedes Benz V8 turbocharged engine, is the largest of four ADTs Bell Equipment is marketing in the United States. The B50D is primarily designed for large mining-based operations, although it has been used for many other large production projects, from quarrying to earthmoving in large highway construction projects.
