The Powerscreen XA750 jaw crusher is fitted with a hydraulically driven pan feeder and live pre-screening unit, complete with a bolt-in cartridge-style grizzly section to remove fines and sizes prior to crushing. The design helps avoid packing and unnecessary manganese wear. Pre-screened material can be stockpiled via an optional dirt conveyor, or re-directed via the bypass chute onto the main product conveyor. An unrestricted 55-in. x 32-in. feed opening prevents bridging and maintains a consistent feed to the XA750, which features a hydraulic-assist closed-side setting adjustment system that can be changed at the touch of a button for product sizing control. A 288-kilowatt diesel engine that uses a direct drive system powers the unit. Engine power is transmitted to the crusher via a self-adjusting, dry plate clutch.
