Powerscreen, a Terex Corp. brand, is preparing to launch the most recent addition to its jaw crushing range, the Premiertrak 330. The Premiertrak 330 is designed for a range of applications, including aggregate, recycling and mining.
The Premiertrak 330 is fitted with a simple large fixed hopper, manufactured from an 8 mm wear plate, which helps improve setup time, reduces pegging and increases the life of the wear parts, the company says. The machine’s hydrostatic drive allows reversibility of the chamber, meaning the machine can unblock and run in reverse. In addition, the Premiertrak 330’s low engine speed can help improve fuel consumption and provide lower noise emissions.
According to Powerscreen, the Premiertrak 330 uses a 40-in. x 24-in. jaw chamber and is capable of production up to 280 tph of crushed material.
“The Premiertrak 330 has been designed to promote an easy and effective flow of material to minimize any potential build-up, therefore maximizing uptime,” says Neil Robinson, product manager at Powerscreen. “Contributing to this is a two-piece grizzly feeder with the second section angled, which allows a better material flow towards the chamber and prevents bridging. These are just some of the features that contribute to the astounding low cost per ton performance of the Premiertrak 330.”
All Powerscreen crushers come equipped with the company’s Pulse Intelligence, a remote monitoring, fleet management system that provides users with equipment data.
The Powerscreen Premiertrak 330 can be purchased from distributors now, and the first machines will be available in November.
