The Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA) is developing a plaza at its office in Gahanna, Ohio, to honor the United States by displaying the U.S. flag as well as a flag featuring those of America’s armed forces.
OAIMA’s Freedom Plaza project will be fully funded by the sale of engraved paver units. The purchase of a paver can honor a veteran, friend, coworker or loved one; commemorate a special date or event; highlight your business; or be in support of your favorite team. OAIMA membership is not required to purchase a paver.
Dedication of Freedom Plaza is tentatively scheduled for Sept. 11, though the date could be changed if a minimum number of orders is not received by July 1.
