Bridgestone names executive director for OTR sales

Bridgestone Americas Inc. named Rob Seibert as executive director for off-the-road (OTR) tire sales for Bridgestone Americas Tires Operations (BATO). Seibert previously served as director of marketing, OTR, U.S. and Canada, for BATO.

Prior to joining Bridgestone in 2015, Seibert spent five years at P&H Mining Equipment, the surface mining products division of Joy Global, as product manager and then district manager. Seibert was also an officer in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2009, and he earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

“Rob has been influential in shaping market strategy for the OTR tire business and has played a critical role in delivering key product launches such as the Firestone VersaBuilt radial tire line and the PressureStat tire pressure monitoring system,” says Bridget Neal, president, OTR, U.S. and Canada, BATO. “His proven leadership and deep understanding of our customer base will enable us to deliver integrated products, services and technologies that meet the emerging needs of our customers.”

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Bridgestone Americas is the U.S. subsidiary of Bridgestone Corp. Bridgestone Americas and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand tires to address the needs of a broad range of customers, including those in the agricultural, forestry and mining industries.
