Haver & Boecker named Sydney Page as its technical applications specialist.
In this role, Page is responsible for helping processing customers increase efficiencies, productivity and return on investment by working closely with Haver & Boecker engineers to create custom solutions.
Page also regularly communicates with customers and visits their operations to directly discuss challenges. According to the company, she uses its NIAflow plant simulation software to identify potential inefficiencies and offer solutions to increase productivity.
“Each operation is unique and has its own challenges to be solved,” Page says. “I am passionate about collaborating with customers to solve those challenges so operations can become more profitable.”
Page earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto. She initially connected with Haver & Boecker at the company’s University Mining Seminar.
“The seminar gives students a firsthand look at what a career path in this industry involves,” says Karen Thompson, president of Haver & Boecker. “We are fortunate to have these opportunities to connect with talented, young professionals like Sydney. Her ability to quickly recognize customer needs makes her a great fit for Haver & Boecker.”
