Dyno Nobel is proud to introduce Navus™, the new handheld electronic initiation system for safe, reliable blasting anywhere you need it.

Navus offers the key safety, reliability, and timing precision benefits of large, centralized systems in a lightweight, portable unit. Weighing just 600 grams (1.3 pounds), Navus can be easily carried anywhere on-site for unparalleled convenience. Navus supports up to 400 detonators per blast and up to 2,500 meters (1.6 miles) of harness wire for adaptability in extended set-ups.

As operations shift from traditional electric or non-electric detonators, Navus pairs seamlessly with Dyno Nobel’s electronic detonators, including the DigiShot® XR series, to enhance blast outcomes. Together, they can increase throughput, lower downstream costs, and deliver measurable improvements in fragmentation and vibration control.

For safe, reliable initiation of NONEL® rounds, Navus works seamlessly with Dyno Nobel’s DriftShot Starters, which eliminate stray currents, radiofrequency interference, and static discharge. Navus and DriftShot Starters offer greater safety, precision, efficiency, and control for superior blasting outcomes.
