Cemex grows global EBITDA 19 percent

Cemex delivered 19 percent global EBITDA growth in the third quarter, although EBITDA was up only 4 percent in its U.S. operations.

The company’s U.S. sales dipped 2 percent year over year to $1.31 billion, with EBITDA in the region totaling $269 million.

Cemex’s global sales totaled $4.24 billion – up 5 percent from the third quarter of 2024. The company’s global EBITDA for the quarter was $882 million. The South America, Central America and Caribbean region posted multi-year EBITDA margin highs, according to Cemex.

“Six months ago, we set out to make Cemex a best-in-class operator and deliver superior shareholder returns,” says Jaime Muguiro, CEO of Cemex. “Our achievements in the quarter confirm that we are setting a strong foundation to position Cemex as a more focused, agile and high-performing company.”
